Why We Are Having a Party
Subject: Joy is a public health necessity.
Dear Builders,
People often ask me: "With all the heavy work we have to do—building wealth, fighting for power, securing land—why are we stopping to have a party?"
The answer is simple: Because Joy is a public health necessity.
You cannot build a revolution on burnout. We have spent 400 years fighting for our survival. It is time we fought for our happiness.
We celebrate Black History, Culture, Music, and People not just because we survived the past, but because we Own the future.
The Sanctuary of Celebration
This is where our legacy lives. The Freedom Entertainment Complex. Yes, it is primarily for music. Yes, it is optimized for sports. But this isn't just about concrete and steel. This is about Reclamation.
When these doors open, we won't just have an "event." Sam Cooke said it best: We’re having a party.
We are launching with a monumental, two-week celebration of the very soul of our culture. This isn't just a concert series. It is an immersive experience where generations connect and our collective genius is celebrated.
We aren't just building a stage; we are building a living testament to our power. We are building a home for our celebration.
And we are welcoming the world... to have a party with us.
