Why I Quit My Job to Build an Empire

Subject: People will allow you to do far less than you are capable of.

Dear Builders,

A year and a half ago, I walked away from a 25-year career.

I didn't leave because I was failing. I left because I was out of alignment. I realized that nothing anyone else could create for me would ever be enough.

We were designed for More. We don't lack the capacity. But it is easy to let the "good" keep you from the "great."

There is a saying that haunted me: "People will allow you to do far less than you are capable of."

I refused to accept that.

The $100 Billion Vision

Six months later, I had built the infrastructure for Self-Built Legacy Foundations and Ascendant Continuum.

Our goal is to generate over $100 Billion in annual revenue through our community. If you don't believe that’s possible, look at the Magnificent Seven (Amazon, Apple, Google). They all started with an idea and a garage. If you don't believe we can duplicate that, then you don’t understand the value this community brings to the table.

No "Me" Without "We"

I am a Black man who is conscious of the well-being of his family and his community. I don't feel indebted. I feel Responsible.

Responsible to build the engine that finally solves the problems we have been begging others to fix.

We aren't just talking about "Economics."

  • We are talking about closing the Wealth Gap from the top down.

  • We are talking about Ending Poverty from the bottom up.

  • We are talking about Free Childcare, Free Tuition, and Zero Maternal Deaths.

  • We are talking about funding the Mental and Emotional Repair of 400 years of trauma.

We are explicitly building Black Wealth, Black Infrastructure, and Black Power. Unapologetically.

Phase 2 begins now. Let's get to work.
