The Gift of Legacy
Subject: Let me carry the weight.
Dear Black people,
This Christmas, I want to present the Gift of Legacy: Self-Built Legacy Foundations.
Our mission is to eliminate poverty and foster holistic well-being in the Black community. We are building the economic engine to secure our wealth, our health, and our independence—for us, by us.
Now, I know what some of you are thinking. You’ve heard promises before. It is understandable to lack faith in "solutions" for our community when we have seen so many fail. The doubt is real.
But where your faith ends, mine begins.
Scripture says if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can move mountains. Let me carry the weight. My faith is strong enough to hold the vision for all of us.
After all, I asked myself: What would Jesus do? He didn't look at the scarcity; He looked at the source. When He saw the five loaves and two fish, He didn't see "not enough." He saw a multitude fed.
Now, I’m not Jesus. But we are all children of God. And I read somewhere that the Will of God for us always means "Greater freedom, greater self-expression, and brighter experience."
It means "Better health, greater prosperity, and wider opportunity of service to others." It means "Life More Abundant."
We are simply building the vessel to receive it. Remember His command to the disciples when they saw the hunger in the crowd:
"You give them something to eat."
That is our mandate. Merry Christmas. Let's build.
